Exercising after retirement

Hey Everyone!

 

My name is Taylor, the owner of Fitness Vision.  Here is an article where I speak to exercising after retirement.  A lot of our members aren’t looking to JUST be sexy, they want to live better, fulfilled lives.  As you enter the retirement stage of your life training may look different, and your goals may have changed from when you were in your 20’s or 30’s.  Did you know warming up can decrease injury by up to 30 %? Did you know to keep and build muscle you need to have .7 – 1  gram of protein per pound of goal bodyweight? What do you do on the days where the weather is affecting your arthritis ? Should you skip the workout ? Do you push through the discomfort?

  • Intentional warmups are SUPER IMPORTANT
  • Protein is KING for many reasons
  • Yes move if the weather I affecting your joints
  • Don’t push through pain, but discomfort, yes you will have to put through, and your body will thank you for it.
